"what now?" by aBenteVent/Venus

About This Track

My wife and I hasn't decided if she wants to use this track for one of her songs yet, its just a beat for verse and chorus, a bassline that we may or may not use and a hint at the direction I want the song to go in. the effect I'm using to mess with the drums is dblue's Glitch, and is very, very, cool. go to http://illformed.org/glitch/ I'm just now learning how to use it effectively (and in moderation!)

  I forgot to add that while I'm waiting on her decision I can't really progress the track any further, but I can make it sound better, so If you have any suggestions. please share!

  Well the glitch drums are awesome, maybe try and put interesting crash cymbal glitch effects maybe, the hihat ones rock. As for the bassline, can't say much about it. I need to hear the context of the song really, maybe make it groove a bit, but thats about it. Love your use on the glitch vst, might have start looking into. :D

  So yeah, the whole crash cymbal at the end of the glitch part, excellent idea! and by the way, I keep finding more and more things to do with the glitch! for instance i stretched and pitch bended the crash and got some crazy sounds out of it with glitch. I'm probably not going finish this track anytime soon however. It needs vocals. but It will probably end up on here and myspace sometime within a few months.
