I'd just like to give you guys a pointer. You've got to decide on what style you're going for. No offence here, but I can't even decide on a genre for your music. It sounds like you're trying to be different or you haven't found what you want to produce. Experiment in trying to recreate your favourite artists genre that you want to produce in, then try to recreate the basic structure. Essentially the drum pattern, as for Trance, usually follows the 'Four On The Floor' kick drum patter, along with Techno and House. Yet, the drums in this track sound partially D'n'B, part Breakbeat.

[/quote:0f99e3012e] I agree in the sense that each style has its own language and stuff, especially in electronic music where you sometimes have too much freedom. But it's cool just to be spontaneous too and there are lots of elements in music which are beyond any particular style. Thanks for the track eaglekartal

You need to sort out the mixdown for this, I didn't even realise there were vocals in it until I turned my speakers up. The drums need a bit more EQing or compression as for me they became annoying after a while. Still, I liked the bassline.
